Description
Using the Refresh Materials function, a 3D model can be updated with the latest material information from the database, since the materials stored in the file may be outdated.
When opening Para-Flex, the program searches the current 3D file for already assigned materials. This allows users to work on a ICS file (which includes materials) without having to connect to the Material Database.
The Refresh Materials function updates this internal material list. Unused materials are removed out of the list (not from the database) and materials that are in use are updated.
This is also useful for quickly cleaning up a contaminated material list, by eliminating the need to manually remove all unused materials.
