More functionality, smarter licensing and support for IronCAD 2026
Para-Flex v26.6.3 is a major update with support for IronCAD 2026 and several improvements across functionality, licensing, FeReco, Dynfos ERP integration, VirtualMaterial, API support and overall stability.
This release makes Para-Flex clearer to use, easier to configure and better prepared for modern calculation, optimization and CAM workflows.
New functionalities
Para-Flex v26.6.3 introduces several functional improvements that make daily work more flexible, stable and efficient.
Improved grids and layouts
For Start licenses and higher, grid formatting can now be saved and restored separately from the grid layout.
This gives users more control over the visual presentation of tables without changing the complete layout.
Dedicated material lookup grid
A new Para-Flex material lookup grid has been added, including layout saving.
This makes searching, selecting and managing materials more structured and efficient.
New XML viewer
A new XML viewer control and XML viewer utility have been added.
This makes it easier to view and check XML data directly inside the Para-Flex environment.
INI-to-JSON conversion
For Pro licenses and higher, a new INI-to-JSON conversion utility has been added for panel and drilling information.
This supports more advanced automation and data-processing workflows.
Updated technical foundation
The DevExpress components have been upgraded from version 23.2 to 25.1. This gives Para-Flex a more modern foundation for screens, grids and interface controls.
A new manifest and deployment flow for IronCAD 2026 has also been added using IAdd.
Better property and collection editors
Custom property editors and collection editors have been improved with DevExpress-based controls and clearer description handling.
This makes properties easier to view, understand and edit.
Improved colour handling
Para-Flex now supports RGB colour handling based on material textures.
RGB colours are also shown in the ParaFlex tree, making materials easier to recognise visually.
New license model
Para-Flex v26.6.3 introduces a clearer license structure with four levels: Basic → Start → Pro → CAM
Each level builds on the previous one. This means that higher licenses include the functionality of the lower levels.

Para-Flex now also shows or hides columns, properties and features based on the active license, FeReco mode and Dynfos ERP availability. This keeps the interface cleaner and only shows what is relevant for the user.
More improvements
VirtualMaterial support
Para-Flex v26.6.3 adds support for VirtualMaterial for Start licenses and higher.
VirtualMaterial makes it possible to work with material compositions for base, top and bottom materials. This is useful when products are built from multiple material layers or when material data needs to be managed more flexibly during optimization.
For Dynfos ERP users, Para-Flex also supports virtual product data from the external database, including improved handling of virtual parts and gross/net dimensions.
FeReco improvements
FeReco has been further expanded with three clear modes: None → Simple → Advanced
FeReco Advanced is available as a separate license on top of Para-Flex Pro or Para-Flex CAM.
For Pro and CAM users with FeReco Advanced, new views have been added for FeReco results, assembly calculations and expression columns. Cost calculation and cost distribution have also been improved.
In Optimize, Para-Flex now supports product and calculation summary views, single-level and multi-level calculation modes, and validation states with clear icons.
Dynfos API support
This update also adds several improvements for Dynfos ERP API integration.
Para-Flex now includes API configuration, login controls, company selection after authentication, encrypted password handling and access token verification.
API uploads are supported for calculation sheets and product thumbnails. API configuration can also be imported and exported.
For Dynfos ERP users, new and updated SQL views have been added for products, materials, boards, profiles, edges, product purchase data and machine paths.
Stability improvements
Para-Flex v26.6.3 also includes a wide range of bug fixes and stability improvements.
These fixes improve behaviour around materials, profiles, optimization, tree updates, CAM export, API XML export, FeReco calculations, FireBird ODBC handling, virtual parts, database checks and license validation.
The result is a more stable and reliable Para-Flex version for daily use.
